Most resources can be traded with ships, space stations, and spaceports. Occasionally, a merchant can land on your ship in a Stasis Pod.

Faction relationships can affect price markup.

Prices are mainly driven by the Stock Market, which reacts to supply and demand. Local availability and faction relationships can also affect the final price of items you buy and sell.

If you're stranded, you can use the Online Shop to get basic commodities delivered directly to your ship via a Storage Capsule. This service is more expensive than regular trading.
